Is Killington House ski-in, ski-out?
Yes. The house is on Killington’s Great Eastern trail: walk out the front door, clip in and ski to the Skyeship Gondola. You can ski home from nearly any lift.
Where is it?
East Mountain Road in Killington, Vermont. By car it is 3 minutes to the Bear Mountain and Skyeship Gondola base areas, 7 minutes to Snowshed and Ramshead, and 8 minutes to the K1 base area.
How many bedrooms and beds are there?
Four bedrooms and an open loft with 11 beds in total. Loft (upper floor): 2 queen beds and 4 bunk beds; Bedroom 1 (main floor): 1 king bed; Bedroom 2 (lower floor): 1 king bed; Bedroom 3 (lower floor): 1 queen bed; Bedroom 4 (main floor): 2 twin beds.
How many bathrooms?
Two: one on the main floor and one on the lower floor.
Does it work for a big group?
Yes: 11 beds across four bedrooms and a loft, a dining table that seats the whole group, a kitchen island that seats five, and a second living room in the lower-level den.
What does it cost?
Rates for 2026 and 2027: $1,100 a night from December through March, and $650 a night from April through November. Holiday nights may be higher.
What is in the house?
A great room with two-story windows, exposed beams and a brick fireplace; a fully stocked kitchen with an island; a dining table for the whole group; a large front deck over the woods and the trail; a lower-level den; and a ski room with benches and racks.
Can you stay outside ski season?
Yes, from April through November. In the warmer months, Great Eastern is a hiking trail from the front door.
What is nearby?
Ski shops (Forerunner, Basin Sports, Peak Performance, Northern Ski Works) and restaurants (Sushi Yoshi, Lookout Tavern, Casey’s Caboose, Wobbly Barn Steakhouse, Liquid Art) are each about 8 minutes away by car.
