Killington with kids

Inquire

Is Killington good for beginners and kids?

Yes. The house is on Great Eastern, a green (easiest) trail from Skye Peak down to the Skyeship base. At the resort, Ramshead has beginner and intermediate terrain, and Snowshed has beginner terrain with easy access to intermediate and advanced.

Where do kids take lessons?

Ramshead runs group lessons for ages 15 and under. Snowshed runs lessons for adults (16 and up) and private lessons. Both are 7 minutes from the house by car.

Is the house set up for a family?

A dining table that seats the whole group, a fully stocked kitchen with an island that seats five, a lower-level den as a second living room, and a ski room with benches and racks for everyone’s gear.

What can kids do in summer?

Killington’s Summer Adventure Center has the Beast Mountain Coaster, zip lines and ropes courses, and the K-1 Express Gondola rides to the summit of Killington Peak. Great Eastern is a hiking trail from the front door.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the property.
